SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Santa Ana police believe there may be more victims of a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a motel.

Nelson Rivera Valle, 37, of Los Angeles was arrested Thursday and was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and multiple sexual assault-related offenses. He is now being held on $1 million bail.

The day before his arrest, a 48-year-old woman reported that she had been kidnapped and raped by Valley after meeting with him at a motel the night before.

One they met, a verbal altercation ensued and Valle allegedly physically and sexually assaulted her, causing significant injuries.
