DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- At least five people were detained late Monday night during a protest near the Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles, police said.
Police said officers told about 60 demonstrators to disperse around 10 p.m.
That's when some of them allegedly clashed with officers. Police said at least 100 LAPD officers responded to the Federal Building.
At least two protesters were detained on suspicion of battery on a police officer, according to police.
This came as parts of Southern California saw Labor Day demonstrations in support of working families.
