At least 1 killed in multi-vehicle crash on 15 Freeway in Jurupa Valley; all NB lanes closed

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- At least one person was killed Saturday in a four-vehicle crash on the 15 Freeway in Jurupa Valley.

The crash was reported at 3:41 a.m. on the northbound Ontario Freeway north of Limonite Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two SUVs and two sedans were involved in the crash that prompted the CHP to issue a SigAlert, shutting down all northbound lanes and diverting traffic off the freeway at Limonite Avenue.

The Riverside County Coroner's office was summoned to the scene just before 4 a.m. The deceased person was not immediately identified.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
