Car crashes into 2 houses in View Park, injuring at least 1 person

VIEW PARK-WINDSOR HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- A car crashed into two houses in View Park on Friday afternoon, causing significant damage.

The crash happened on Verdun Avenue near Angeles Vista Boulevard around 1 p.m.

AIR7 video from above the scene shows significant damage to both homes. It appears the garage of one of the homes was damaged, while the car ended up inside the house next door.

Los Angeles County fire officials said one person was injured, but it's unclear if they were in the car or in one of the houses.

It's also unclear what may have caused the crash.
