20-year-old man shot near McDonald's parking lot in Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KABC) -- A 20-year-old man was injured in a shooting near the parking lot of a McDonald's in Hawthorne overnight.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Rosecrans Avenue near Yukon Avenue, according to the Hawthorne Police Department.

Details about what led up to the shooting were not available, but the victim was struck by gunfire. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
